When it comes to gifting, we believe that doing something and making lasting memories, is always better than receiving something that let’s be honest…will most likely end up collecting dust on a shelf!
The way we look at it is that whilst you could get a nice, knitted jumper or a cool pair of trainers, you could be jumping off a 160ft crane attached to a bungee cord or eating sushi and sipping on sake at one of your city’s most exclusive locations.
Whilst material possessions will come and go, what never disappears are the memories of the things you did, surrounded by friends, family and loved ones.
Who are we?
‘Guess What I Did’ is a city-based Experience Day site focusing on 6 major UK cities:
Having searched high and low, we’ve hand-picked the best Experience Days that’ll allow you to be a tourist in your own city for a change!
From romantic date night spots for two in London, to hanging out with mates at a comedy club in Manchester or taking in the sights of Edinburgh whilst indulging in an Afternoon Tea, we’ve tested them all out, so you don’t have to.
Not just another Experience Day website
There are several ways in which we differ from your traditional Experience Day site…for one, we are a city-specific business. Rather than having a multitude of experiences across a vast number of locations, just focusing on 6 major cities has allowed us to provide a more extensive and diverse offering in each.
We have avoided including the “mainstream” Experience Days in our offering, such as supercar drives and romantic getaways, as our goal is to provide you with a diverse selection of Experience Days that are a little ‘out of the ordinary’.
We hope that this will provide you with amazing opportunities to catch up with both new and old friends, prove that romance isn’t dead to your other half, and try out a whole host of weird and wonderful activities, which you never even knew existed in your city!
Giving back to your city
Whilst we want you to explore the fantastic Experience Days which your city has to offer, we are very aware that for a large number of less fortunate people in your city, simply finding a hot meal and a place to sleep for the night will be a priority and not a given. We are also aware that with the rising cost of living, this problem will only get worse.
As a starting point, we have partnered up with the following charity in each city that is fighting against homelessness:
- London – The Connection at St Martin in the Fields
- Manchester – Booth Centre
- Birmingham – Helping Hands of Birmingham
- Bristol – Help Bristol’s Homeless
- Edinburgh – Steps to Hope
- Glasgow – Halliday Foundation
We have selected smaller charities which may often miss out on the same level of funding as other larger organisations, as we believe that these charities often do some of the most meaningful work on the frontline within their local communities.
If you want to join us in supporting these charities, simply tick the box at checkout and add a £1 donation to your chosen charity which we will then match with £1 of our own. These donations will be sent to the relevant charity in each city at regular intervals to ensure that we are providing ongoing support to them throughout the year.
