Beginner Barista Course for Two at HEJ Coffee

Having been conceived in Sweden, HEJ Coffee brought its strong Swedish values across the pond and was born in Bermondsey and is fast becoming a household name in neighbourhoods across London as a company that sources their coffee beans directly from the farmers but roasts them locally in on-site roasteries in London!

At their roastery in Elephant and Castle, HEJ Coffee offers an ‘Introduction to Coffee’ Barista course for two. This is the perfect experience for anyone who is passionate about coffee or is looking to get into the industry.

Throughout this half day course you will learn about the history and origins of coffee, understanding more about the harvesting and roasting of coffee beans that goes into speciality coffee and you’ll even learn the brewing basics and get hands-on with coffee making process.

The experience includes a coffee cupping which will help to develop your taste buds and help you recognise the many distinct flavours that you can look out for in the future!

This is a one day course and will last from 10am until 3pm and is bookable from Monday to Sunday throughout the year, excluding certain bank holidays. The maximum class size is 10 so you can expect there to be other people present on the day.
